What a day!

This past Friday, many of our Danville FFA members and future members kicked off the school day bright and early by driving their tractors to school for our annual Drive Your Tractor to School Day! The morning continued with our annual tractor parade through both schools, ending at the track to kick off Ag Awareness Day!

A huge thank you goes out to the girls in our Livestock Selection course who worked hard to plan and organize all of the Ag Day stations! Elementary students had the opportunity to learn about tractors, cattle, pigs, goats, chickens, and sheep while exploring the many areas of agriculture.

We would also like to thank Blanchard Farms for bringing out their spray drone and boom sprayer to help students learn more about modern agricultural technology and crop spraying. Thank you to Knox Soil and Water Conservation District for bringing their educational trailer and providing another great learning experience for our students!

Last but certainly not least, a BIG thank you to Knox County Farm Bureau- Ohio, Kayla Jones for hosting an educational station for our elementary students and generously providing pizza for all of our student helpers for lunch!

Thank you to everyone who helped make Ag Awareness Day a success! We are already looking forward to next year.

It’s that time of year again! The Danville FFA Fruit & Companion Sale is BACK!

The Danville FFA is excited to kick off our annual Fruit & Companion Sale! This year, we are offering a variety of fresh fruit, nuts, BBQ sauces and rubs, and beef products, so there is something for everyone!

Sale Dates: October 8th – November 13th, 2026

Estimated Delivery: 2nd week of December

Payment Information: Cash and checks are accepted. Checks should be made payable to "Danville Schools" with "FFA Fruit Sale" in the memo. We ask that payment be made at the time of ordering.

Want to support the Danville FFA but don't need any products?

Again this year, we are offering the option to purchase products that will be donated to our local food bank! You can also choose to make a monetary donation directly to the Danville FFA Chapter without purchasing any items.

How to Order: Reach out to any Danville FFA member, message our chapter through Facebook Messenger, or call the Ag Department at the school and ask for Mr. Myers, 740-599-6116 ext 5015.

This is one of our chapter's main fundraisers, and the money raised helps support our members, activities, competitions, and opportunities throughout the year!

The Danville FFA is proud to be organizing a food drive in support of Food For The Hungry of Knox County this year! The drive will take place during the first week of November, November 2nd–6th, 2026.

We will be collecting non-perishable food items as well as monetary donations to help those in need throughout our community.

More details will be shared as we get closer to the drive. Thank you in advance for your support!

Tomorrow is the day! Please remember to be respectful and cautious when driving into school and give yourself plenty of time.

Park in the gravel lot by the ag shop. The parade will end with us parking at the track, with Ag Day to follow!

The Danville FFA would like to extend a huge thank you to Versova & Trillium Farms for their continued support—not only of our Danville FFA program, but of FFA as a whole!

Today, we were grateful to receive a generous $2,500 donation to support our FFA program. This donation will help fund various FFA events, activities, and programs throughout the year, providing our members with valuable experiences and opportunities to grow both inside and outside the classroom.

We truly appreciate your continued investment in our members and the future of agriculture!
