Thank you to everyone who sent in donations yesterday & all of the amazing business sponsors! We simply could not do any of this without so much support.

It is not too late to send in your permission slip to run & $10 raised for Kona Ice who will be on site Friday during all runs. Remember, Fun Run is tomorrow‼️

Brosville Elementary PTO’s biggest fundraiser is just right around the corner 🙌🏻

The kids get to enjoy the last of that good summer weather by getting sprayed by Brosville Volunteer Fire and Rescue & turned into a running piece of art during the color Fun Run! Followed up with a treat from Kona Ice of Rockingham Co., Martinsville & West Danville!

Every dollar stays at our school for our students and staff.

Business sponsorships will be displayed on a banner outside of the school after the fundraiser is completed.
$50 sponsors five and $100 sponsors ten!

And we want to make sure every child gets covered 🙌🏻 so any individual can sponsor a child no matter the money amount as well. If you are interested, feel free to send us a message or check out the comments for a QR code to our PTO Cash App, just note it for fun run!

Once a month the complimentary Staff Snack Cart (ran by members of the school staff ) makes its way around with treats and drinks.

As we all know, getting started can be expensive! We’ve created an Amazon Wish List for anyone who would like to help with the initial stocking of the cart. Any contribution, big or small, would be greatly appreciated!

Good evening,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome students and parents back to school for the 2026-2027 school year, and to share a few important dates with you. The first day of school is Monday, August 10, 2026. We ask that parents check the school website for the list of supplies needed for this school year. Please be reminded to check with your child's school if there are any questions about required vaccinations. Open House is scheduled on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. for students and parents.

School is out, but summer meals are in!

This summer, Pittsylvania County Schools will provide FREE breakfast and lunch to all children 18 and younger through the USDA Summer Food Service Program.

Meals will be available through:
• On-site meal locations during summer school
• Grab-and-go meal distribution sites

Grab-and-go meals will be distributed curbside at:
Chatham Middle, Dan River Middle, Gretna Middle, and Tunstall Middle
Thursdays: June 4, 11, 18, 25 and July 9, 16
5:00–6:00 p.m.

On-site meal dates and locations vary throughout June and July.
