DCA GIRLS GOLF UPDATE

STATE ALL A — SUNDAY
Arlington Golf Club — Richmond
First tee time: 8:12

Parents: There are usually very few spectator carts available at the State All A, if any. Spectators must remain at least 30 yards away from players unless helping locate a golf ball.

📻 ONE LAST UPDATE!
Evan and I will be on WHIR 103.9 FM / AM 1320 this morning with a couple of players from the golf team! We’ll be on from 9:05–9:25 AM, so tune in if you can!

💭 GOLF TIP OF THE WEEK — SCORING

You don’t have to hit perfect shots to shoot a good score.

Good scoring is about avoiding the BIG number. If you get in trouble, take your medicine, get the ball back in play and give yourself a chance on the next shot. A bogey won’t ruin your round — turning one bad shot into three or four bad shots will.

Fairways. Greens. Smart misses. No big numbers.

You’re not trying to win the tournament on one hole. Stack good decisions together for 18 holes and let the score take care of itself.

What a fantastic start to the 2026–2027 school year! We are only a few days in, but we already feel it… the excitement, the encouragement, the support, and the sense of family that makes DCA so special.

Thank you for trusting us with your children and allowing us the privilege of serving your family. We never take that responsibility lightly.

Thank you for supporting our teachers and staff, encouraging our students, showing up when we need you, and most importantly, believing in and supporting the mission of DCA.

Our mission is only possible because of the families who choose to walk alongside us as we seek to educate, encourage, and point students toward Christ.

We are incredibly thankful for each of you and excited for everything God has in store this year.

We’re only 3 days in, and it already feels like routines are being mastered, friendships are growing, and our Warriors are settling right in. 🙌

We are so thankful for the way our entire DCA family has jumped into the 2026–2027 school year together. What a great start!

Because of your generosity, EVERY DCA staff member has a large coffee waiting for them tomorrow morning! ☕️

What a way to kick off the first day of school! Thank you for loving on our teachers and staff and reminding them just how appreciated they are. We are so blessed by the incredible families who make up our DCA community.

This is exactly why we started Coffee for Teachers. ☕️❤️

The whole idea was simple: give the community a chance to show up for their schools and put a FREE coffee in the hands of every teacher and staff member.

Tomorrow morning we’ll be at Danville Christian Academy, and thanks to this incredible community, enough coffees have already been sponsored to do exactly that. Every one of them. 🏴‍☠️☕️
