💜 WHY PTO FUNDRAISING MATTERS 💜

We know there have been some questions and concerns about the Color Run fundraiser and the $100 fundraising goal for the ice cream celebration. We hear you, and we understand that every family’s circumstances are different.

We simply want to share a little about why PTO fundraising is so important to Twin Springs.

Each year, our PTO has a fundraising goal of approximately $20,000. Those funds help provide many of the programs, resources, and experiences our students and teachers enjoy throughout the year, including:

📚 Accelerated Reader
🍎 Teacher classroom funds
💜 Teacher appreciation
👟 Field Day
🎉 Student activities and celebrations
💙 Counselor support
🎨 After-school programs
…and many other needs throughout our school.

Because Twin Springs does not receive Title I funding, PTO fundraising plays an important role in helping us provide these extras for our students and staff.

This year, we also have an especially exciting goal: raising money toward a new LED school sign as we celebrate Twin Springs’ 30th anniversary! 💜💙

You may also be wondering why we moved the Color Run to the beginning of the school year. With our 30th anniversary celebration planned for May, we wanted to move the Color Run earlier in the year so we could focus on that special celebration and the other exciting events we have planned for the remainder of the school year.

Most importantly, we want every family to know that your child’s participation in a fundraiser—or the amount your family is able to raise—does not define their value to our school.

We are grateful for every family who supports the PTO in whatever way they can—whether that’s fundraising, volunteering, attending events, donating, supporting local businesses, or simply cheering us on.

Every dollar helps. Every child matters. And we’re all working toward the same goal: making Twin Springs the best it can be for our students. 🐬💜💙
