Our seminar is NEXT TUESDAY at The Beef House! The seminar begins at 8am IL/9am IN time.

In no particular order, our eight hours of topics are:
The IN Cremation Act
The IN Cemetery Act
Eco Embalming
Road to the State House
Flameless Cremation
Business Succession
OSHA (General for IL; annually required for IN but you do NOT get an hour for it)
Sexual Harassment (this hour mandatory every license period for IL; not approved for IN)

You CAN register at the door. Lunch Buffet is included.

Our next continuing education seminar will be on Tues, April 28th at The Beef House in Covington, Indiana. It will be worth 8 hour of continuing education including the mandated IN OSHA and the mandated IL Sexual Harassment training.

Registration forms will go out in the next 48 hours (from our gmail account) to anyone who has attended a past seminar. Current VCFDA members will also get an email from Jen.

Cost is set at $80 for members and $125 for non-members. Price includes the lunch buffet and unlimited coffee/soft drinks throughout the day.

A big thank-you goes out to Kelley Wilbert Vault Co of Danville for hosting our last two hours of continuing education at their facility last Wednesday. We appreciate the hospitality and the broad range of services you showed us- from vault pouring/building to a plant tour, complete vault/urn vault setups, and casket options, you showed us a little of everything!

Our seminar is in just two weeks! You do NOT have to pre register/ you can register at the door. We do appreciate a head count, so you are more than welcome to fax or email your registration form ahead of time and then pay on site.

Your registration fee includes the lunch buffet complete with a beverage and dessert, and soda/coffee/tea all day.

Hours are approved for IL and IN.

This seminar will include 2 hours of embalming, 2 hours of IN Law, 1 hour of OSHA, and 3 hours of Funeral Directing/General. The last two hours of the day will be an onsite tour of Kelly Wilbert Vault Co in Danville.

Our Fall 2025 Seminar will be on October 8th at The Beef House. We will offer 8 hours of continuing education valid for both IL and IN licensees. Schedule and registration will be available in early September!

The upcoming seminar on Wed, April 16th will offer 8 hours of continuing education for Illinois Licensees, but only 3 hours of continuing education for Indiana Licensees (due to the Indiana PLA not meeting last week as scheduled).

Just a reminder that this IS a renewal year for Illinois. It is NOT a renewal year for Indiana.
