Celebrating the legacy of Wendell Berry. 📚

Join Centre College and the Boyle County Public Library this Saturday, Sept. 26, at Constitution Square in downtown Danville for a special gathering celebrating the words and legacy of one of Kentucky’s most celebrated writers.

From 9:30–11 a.m., community members will read passages from Berry’s poems, essays, fiction and commentary during the Saturday farmers’ market.

Want to participate? You can sign up to read aloud or submit a personal reflection about what Wendell Berry’s work means to you.

Did you see Sarah Thomas on Monday Night Football last night? 👀🏈

Just a few days earlier, the history-making NFL official was right here at Centre College, sharing her story and leadership lessons with our community during Family Weekend!

We’re still talking about an inspiring evening with Sarah and her presentation, “Breaking Through: My Journey to Becoming the First Female NFL Official.”

Family Weekend 2026 has brought plenty of fun to campus — from cheering on our Colonels to four-legged friends making an appearance, a campus-wide scavenger hunt, and the unveiling of our newest mascot!

Thanks to all the families who joined us and helped make campus feel a little more like home.
