As our final act of community outreach with our advisor Mr. VanBuskirk before he is gone, members and our advisor went to Great River Health on November 28, 2020 to show our appreciation by chalking out words of hope and encouragement on the sidewalks in front of employee entrances. To add to that, Danville FFA voted to give out care packages with the help of our alumni group "Friends of Danville FFA". We will deliver these packages to Great River, Fort Madison, Henry County, and Keosauqua soon. In closing, we would like to say thank you to the community, parents, donors, family and friends for all the support they have give us the past three years. It’s been a great time!

On Saturday November 7, 2020 we had a petting zoo at SunnyBrook in Burlington for the scc soccer team fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who came out, and helped support them!

“HAPPY HOCO WEEK” On Wednesday, November 4, 2020 some of our members spent the afternoon decorating and getting ready for the Parade. Thank you to Tamara and Ryan Coffin for letting us use your truck and trailer, and bringing us supper!

Critters should stay warm for a little while. Today, October 21, 2020, We donated and delivered 63 bales of straw to Paws Animal Shelter in Fort Madison. Thank you to Brock Beckman for the use of your truck!

This months Danville FFA mandatory member meeting will be held on Sunday, October 18 at 7 pm. At 6 pm there will be a final parent meeting if you weren't able to make the one last month. This will be located at Bobb Dodds.

“WHAT A SUCCESS” A big thank you to Farm King for allowing us to have the petting zoo, and providing the treat cups for the animals. Also, to all the community members who brought their animals out for the day and the Alumni who came by and helped out.

This week, Wednesday September 2, 2020 FFA Push Week began. Freshman and family’s of the freshman class, be on the lookout for getting a letter in the mail, along with some other fun FFA stuff!

Day 2 of the Officer Retreat 2020...

Today we went on a 8 mile canoeing trip down the Des Moines river. On that 4 hour trip, making our way to our destination we learned more on how to work together.

Day 1 of the Officer Retreat 2020...

Started off the day with horse back riding at Westercamp in Farmington.
Followed by that, we went to the meat locker, and the Dutchman store to get the supplies needed to make dinner and dessert as a team.
By the end of the night, we sat down and talked about what this year is going to look like, including our POA’s, fundraisers, and other activities.
