I just wanted to share with everyone that I will be leaving the Yell County Extension office at the end of November. I will still work for the Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, but my new job will be at the State Office in Little Rock as the Healthy Living Program Associate for Arkansas 4-H. It will be hard for me to move on from this wonderful County, but an opportunity came along that will put me closer to my family and I could not pass it up.

I have enjoyed being the Yell County Extension Family Consumer Science/4-H Agent for the past 5 years. I have had the privilege to get to know and collaborate with some amazing people.

Thank you to my Yell County Extension Co-Workers, 4-H leaders, EHC members, Community Volunteers, Program Participants, County Leaders, Schools, and Businesses/Organizations that support our Extension programs. I appreciate all that you did for the U Of A Cooperative Extension -Yell County program.

Best Care is 10 hours of training done face to face once year. Best Care Connected and Out of School are offered online. Guiding Children Successfully has been done online and via paper form. You can do GCS training once every 4 years.

If you would like to see this demonstrated in person our Yell County Extension Homemakers leader training this month is on Cooking Under Pressure. They are showcasing how to make this recipe as well as others. I am actually demonstrating this lesson at the Havana EHC club meeting tomorrow at 1:30pm at the Havana First Baptist Church. Let me or someone from the Havana EHC club know if you would like join us.
