Our youngest Bulldogs always look forward to time with the oldest students on campus and these special moments are some of the most treasured traditions at SIS. As we get closer to the start of a new school year, we hope all of our Bulldogs have enjoyed a great summer read and are getting excited for another year of learning and growing together!

A summer throwback from our Kindergarten Prep students! After learning about the butterfly life cycle, our youngest learners released their butterflies in the Rose Garden. The students were so excited to see the butterflies spread their wings and take flight. As summer continues, we hope you are all enjoying time outdoors! š¦

Learning about shadows and the sun in first grade! āļø During science, our first graders explored shadows and the rotation of the sun by tracing their shadows on the concrete with chalk. After a few hours, they returned to observe how their shadows had changed as the sun moved across the sky.

SIS students build teamwork, sportsmanship, and skills through a variety of PE activities each week. Our youngest Bulldogs focus on building foundational motor skills in the early grades, while our older students refine coordination, strategy, and healthy competition. Here is a throwback of some of our students enjoying a game of badminton.

Learning about our community helpers in Kindergarten! Our Kindergarten students love exploring what it means to be responsible citizens and active members of our community. We were so grateful to welcome parents who share their expertise and experiences in their professions.
Our curious Kindergartners enjoyed asking questions, learning about a police officerās uniform, and even getting a peek inside a patrol car! They made meaningful connections about how community helpers work to keep us safe each day. š

Our students in grades 3ā8 are blessed to participate in Eucharistic Adoration once to twice a month. Eucharistic Adoration is a beautiful Catholic tradition where we spend quiet, reverent time in the presence of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. It is a sacred opportunity for students to pause from their day, enter into stillness, and spend time in prayer and reflection. š¤

Hands-on learning in Jr. High! Mrs. Steelmanās students took on a fun challenge, working in groups to design a bungee jump system using rubber bands and determine the right length based on a buildingās height and a Barbie dollās weight. The goal was to get the doll as close to the ground as possible without letting it touch.
