What a great week at the BHRA Basketball Camp! 🏀

Nearly 60 students in grades 5-8 joined us to sharpen their basketball skills, build character, and grow as teammates and leaders. Thank you to Coach Gary Tidwell for partnering with FCA once again to make this camp possible!

The scoreboard NEVER tells the whole story.

One of our favorite memories from this season is seeing BHRA softball players voluntarily come together in prayer, encouraging one another and placing their trust in God. No prompting. No spotlight. Just students living out their faith.

Thankful for a team culture that values both competition and character.

What a tremendous way to kick off summer!

Over the last two days, FCA and Catlin Church of Christ have partnered together to provide an EPIC Flag Football Camp to 24 boys and girls in grades 3rd–8th. Under the leadership of Sudan Ellington, campers sharpened their skills, learned new drills, competed hard, and had a blast.

But this camp was about more than football. Each day included a devotion led by CCC Student Minister Joe Sims, challenging campers to grow in both character and faith.

A huge thank you to Chris Lawler and Emily Rancuret for their incredible work coordinating this camp, the wonderful kitchen team from Catlin Church of Christ who prepared lunches each day, and all of the FCA and CCC volunteers who invested their time and energy into these young athletes.

We are grateful for a community that believes in developing the whole athlete—body, mind, and spirit!

Football skills were on display, but some of the most important lessons happened off the field.

On June 2, FCA and Catlin Church of Christ kicked off a high-energy Flag Football Camp for local students in grades 3rd–8th. Athletes were challenged physically through football instruction from Sudan Ellington and spiritually through daily devotions led by Joe Sims. Athletes spent time learning about character, faith, and how those qualities impact every area of life.

We're thankful for every athlete, parent, volunteer, and partner helping make this camp such a great start to summer!
