They showed up—and they’re hoping others will join them.

At 7:30 this morning, FCA students at Salt Fork High School gathered for See You at the Pole. These students are working to bring participation back to this important tradition, inviting their classmates to come together and pray for their school, teachers, coaches, administrators, families, and community.

It starts with a few students willing to step up, lead boldly, and put their faith into action.

See You at the Pole is not an FCA event, but FCA is grateful to be present at Salt Fork High School and Jr. High and to encourage students as they live out their faith.

Your prayers and financial support help make that presence possible—providing students and coaches with Bibles, resources, encouragement, and the truth of Jesus.

They showed up. They prayed. They lifted up their school and community.

Today, students across the country gathered around their school flagpoles for See You at the Pole—a student-led time of prayer for their schools, classmates, teachers, families, and communities.

That same spirit was alive right here in the Vermilion Valley FCA area.

At Bismarck, around 100 junior high and high school students gathered at 7:30 this morning. They were joined by teachers, administrators, parents, and community members—all coming together for one purpose: to pray.

They prayed as one large group and then gathered in smaller groups, with students and adults alike lifting up their school, their staff, their administrators, their classmates, and their community.

The juice and doughnuts were a nice perk.

But that's not why they came.

They came because they believe prayer matters.

What a powerful reminder of what can happen when students are willing to stand together, lead boldly, and put their faith into action.

We are grateful to see students living out their faith right where they are—and grateful for every coach, teacher, parent, administrator, and community member who continues to encourage them along the way.

See You at the Pole is not an FCA event, but FCA is honored to be present in this school district.

🏈🙌 Fifth Quarter energy at Georgetown-Ridgefarm FCA!

After last Friday night's matchup against Clifton (Central), about 20 students stuck around for snacks, gaga ball, nine-square, and a whole lot of laughter. This is what FCA is all about — giving students a safe, fun place to hang out after the game and hear a short word about who they are in Christ. Homecoming week is BUSY. There are games, activities, practices, events, and a whole lot happening at Oakwood High School.

It would have been easy to say, “Let’s just skip this week.”

But they didn’t.

These students **showed up** for their FCA Huddle. They made time to gather, encourage one another, and grow in their faith—even when their schedules were packed.

That’s what commitment looks like.

Because sometimes following Jesus means choosing to make time for what matters most, even when it would be easier not to.

We’re proud of these Oakwood students for showing up (in their pajamas!!!) —and grateful for the coaches and leaders who continue to make space for them to grow.

Twenty students rolled out of bed early Tuesday morning to be at Salt Fork High School’s first FCA Huddle meeting of the school year—and that kind of commitment is worth celebrating!

Finding a time for students and Huddle coaches to meet isn’t always easy. Between full class schedules, practices, games, meets, jobs and everything else competing for their time, sometimes FCA has to happen before the school day even begins. But these students showed up, just like they do for their teams.

Even better? Some of those in the room were founding members of last year’s Salt Fork Junior High FCA group. What a great way to start another year of growing together!

We’re also incredibly thankful for Stephanie Downing, who stepped in to lead the Huddle during a year when staffing changes could have left Salt Fork FCA without a coach. We’re excited to see what God does through this group this year!

⛳ **WHAT A DAY!** ☀️

To say it was HOT at Friday’s Vermilion Valley FCA Golf Classic would be an understatement! With temperatures reaching 95° and a heat index pushing 105°–110°, it was definitely a day to remember. Thankfully, the bottled water and ice were plentiful—and so was the determination!

Despite being Labor Day weekend, 15 committed teams showed up to support FCA and help us continue the mission of reaching coaches and athletes throughout Vermilion County. 🙌

And what a great group of golfers! Our teams included men and women, coworkers, church groups, coaches and athletes, friends, and family members.We are incredibly grateful to every person who came out and made the day a success!

Because of your support, the funds raised will help provide:
📖 Bibles and learning resources for coaches and athletes
🏕️ Camps and camp scholarships
🤝 Ministry and discipleship opportunities throughout our local schools and community
