Our little group of champions had a great show and a ton of fun this week at Woodside Spring 2! Here are the highlights:

🏅 Completed their first derby together!
🏅 Sunnyside was also 7th in the USHJA open derby with .al.bo

Yay Sarah Maples and Jack! Winner first round of NorCal finals and 4th overall 🤩

We are beyond proud of Milla and Thunderstruck for their incredible first Junior Hunter Finals outing! Competing in the very strong 3’6” Large 16-17 division, they finished 6th in the classic round with scores of 81, 84.5, 83 and 8th in the under saddle with scores of 86, 78, 83. They were sitting 5th overall going into the handy but had an unlucky rail to keep them just out of the ribbons in the division championship. These two and the whole team behind them put in so much hard work to ensure the absolute best performance and Milla delivered like a seasoned professional. Way to go, Milla, and what a guy, Thund!

Team Field Trip! We decided to hit the road for a day trip to Brookside Splash for young Levioso to get some mileage in the show ring. Thanks Samm and Em for meeting up and supporting our haul-in journey 😆. Levi got some great practice and took home a blue in one round, Em and baby Fiona schooled over flower boxes for the first time, Samm and Em practiced in the 3’3” with their boys for some blues and reds and Samm and Lotto walked away with the win in their first derby together! We can’t wait for more field trips in the future!

Congrats to our horse, Sunnyside, on his acquisition of his new person, Ava! We are so happy that Drae gets to stay in the barn and that he gets to wear pink all day everyday with his favorite little girl.
