NCS Round 2!!! The Mustangs head to Clayton Valley for a matchup with a long time foe. Mustangs vs Ugly Eagles in the NCS playoffs has been a constant for decades. Always great battles and this one will surely be as well. Come support your Stangs!!! 4:30 start.

How can you not be romantic about baseball. Bottom of the 13th, 1 out, who else is coming up other than Torin Dunphy. He did it on the football field and he does it again on the diamond. A ball hit so hard there was no doubt that it was a game winning hit. What a moment.

An unbelievable battle that lasted 2 days, the Mustangs take down the Liberty Lions. What a game. On to round 2 vs Clayton Valley.

Miguel Saavedra: Once a Mustang always a Mustang. Miggy wasn’t able to join his baseball family on the field this year but you bet he was there in the dugout to support his brothers. A huge member of our team that helped get this program to where it is today, League Champs. Mustangs like Miggy are the inspiration of this program, whatever life gives you, your MV Baseball family is there to support you. Every time Miggy walks in our dugout the vibe changes and we know it’s going to be a good day.

#40 Anson Liptak: Our Unc, Anson has been our team adult and a guy who came into this year with a simple “I want my senior year to be the most fun season in my baseball career”. Coming out of the bullpen, Anson has slammed the door on some of our biggest wins. When it was time to clinch our first league title in a decade, Anson was the guy we wanted with the ball. The guy whose arm always feels “amazing” Anson spent his senior year leading a dominant bullpen who continues to slam doors shut on games. He’s not too shabby with the bat either. We have some balls that we won’t get back because Anson sent them into the next town.

#21 Dylan Anderson: This future Boilermaker should never have to buy lunch in Danville again. The effort that Dylan puts into practice everyday raises the level of intensity and speed that everyone has to play at. The 2026 League Championship does not happen without DA and his ability to push everyone around him. He may not say a lot but DA is going to be very successful because he lives by the idea that effort is non negotiable and if you’re going to do something, go all in. Every week he does something spectacular because he’s just willing to try harder than everyone else. Watch out for this guy, he’s off to make huge things happen.
