🏀 **Welcome back Coach Kashif Watson!**

Schlarman Academy is excited to announce Kashif Watson as our new Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach!

Coach Watson brings an impressive combination of elite playing experience, coaching success, and a passion for developing student-athletes. A Las Vegas native, Watson starred at Bishop Gorman High School, where he was an Honorable Mention All-American, the No. 2-ranked shooting guard on the West Coast, and remains the only player in school history to have his jersey retired. He continued his playing career the University of Idaho, where he earned his bachelor's degree and competed at the NCAA Division I level. Following college, Watson played professionally in the NBA Summer League, the NBA D-League, and internationally in Canada, Mexico, China, Israel, and Mongolia.

Locally, Coach Watson has already made a lasting impact on the Danville basketball community, serving as Schlarman Academy's varsity boys head coach and as an assistant coach at Danville Area Community College. Throughout his coaching career, he has been committed to building strong relationships, teaching the fundamentals, and helping young athletes grow both on and off the court.
