Who’s doing the thinking and owning the learning in your classroom?

Sometimes, creating more vibrant learning doesn't require a new program or a complete lesson overhaul. It starts by asking three simple questions:

Who is doing the thinking?
Why does the learning matter?
Where do students have ownership?

Small shifts can make a big difference. This month, we'll be sharing practical ideas and examples from Kentucky educators who are leading the way with Vibrant Learning. Stay tuned!

We loved being back with the teachers at Bracken County Middle School for Vibrant Learning Part II: Designing Vibrant Learning Experiences! 🌟

This session was all about moving from understanding to implementation—using KASC’s Thinking, Meaning & Ownership (TMO) framework to take a closer look at existing lessons, make intentional design choices, and create learning experiences that truly engage students in the work.

These teachers dug in, reflected on their current practice, shared ideas, and spent time doing the real work of planning for vibrant learning in their classrooms. 💡

Thank you, Bracken County Middle School, for inviting KASC to continue this work with your team. We can’t wait to see what your students experience next!
