Oakwood Grade School Project Success

Project Success is canceled today due to unstable power in Oakwood.

Yesterday was a busy day for the Bigs! We finished up one of our snacks from around the world boxes we had started last week, Noah came to introduce us to 3D printing on our big printer and we had another Smash Bros. tournament, of course! Wonder what today will bring . . .

OGS students had such an exciting day day at Shedd Aquariam! We love that we could provide this opportunity. So much fun, many didnt make the ride home without a nap.

Our Littles and middles have had such a great first week! From painting and clay sculptures to making soap and designing obstacles courses, to cooking club, they have enjoyed it all. We cant forget our trip to Oakwood library and walking the Rail Trail learning about dinosaurs. We end the week tomorrow with a trip to Shedd Aquariam or Touch a Dino at OPL.

Please have students who are attending the field trip tomorrow at OGS no later than 7:55 AM. The bus will depart at 8:00 AM.

We will still have our regular program from 8:00 AM to noon for those who are not going.

Today the Bigs walked to the Oakwood Public Library, did their scavenger hunt along the Kickapoo Rail Trail (where they were fascinated by the mulberries), then returned to school for some gaming and to make Butterbeer. They all agreed it was a good day!
