Tomorrow is our first day back in session at DACC, which means our summer has officially come to an end! Here’s a photo dump of some of the fun we had over the summer. ☀️🏁

We kicked things off with our annual DACC Car Show. During this year’s 18th Annual Car Show, we also had the opportunity to recognize and congratulate our racing team members on some of their accomplishments:

🏆 Garrett Wells- Best Burnout
🏆 Daylon Morgan-Fastest Autocross Time
🏆 Aden Knight- Fastest 1/4-Mile Drag Time
🏆 Eli Davis- Most Competitive & Best 2-Step Launch Control

We also have a few photos from the Colton Wright Memorial Car Show held in Covington, Indiana, along with some fun at Arts In The Park.

It was a busy summer filled with cars, good company, and plenty of memories. Now it’s time to get back in the auto lab, and see what this next school year brings! 🔧

Great town, great people, and a wonderful event honoring a young man gone too soon. The Colton Wright Memorial Car Show on the Covington Square today was a meaningful way to celebrate Colton’s life.

Four scholarships were awarded today to Danville Area Community College students in his memory. Congratulations to the recipients, and thank you to Colton’s family and friends for continuing to think of us and support our students.

For the past several years, every student who applied has received some type of scholarship, over 800 recipients and more than $1 million awarded each year. It’s definitely worth your time, so don’t miss out. Take a few minutes and get your application submitted!
