Here's a reminder of our holiday hours for Juneteenth on Friday, 6/19! We hope however you spend the holiday it's full of rest and enjoyment. Please also note that there will also be no Summer Camp or Teen Camp on Friday.

We've got a once in a lifetime raffle opportunity on our hands! Our friends at Caesars Virginia were kind enough to donate two tickets each to two concerts coming up! We have two tickets for the legendary Patti LaBelle on 6/20, and two tickets for Niko Moon on 6/26! And YOU have a chance to win them! We're selling raffle tickets at our Front Desk for $2 each, and each one is an entry into drawing for the concert of your choice! Just let the Front Desk know which concert you'd like to enter the drawing for. Hurry though, because we'll be drawing for Patti LaBelle on 6/18 and for Niko Moon on 6/25!

As we get closer to the Juneteenth holiday next week, we wanted to remind everyone that we will be operating with abbreviated holiday hours in observance on Friday, 6/19!

June is national LGBTQ+ Pride Month! YMCA's all over the country are using this month to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community, Members, and Staff. At the Y, we believe in a diverse world. We are stronger when we serve all, and we strengthen our community through embracing diversity and providing a safe, welcoming community for all. Happy Pride Month!

Summer is the season of water safety! That's why this summer, we're adding more opportunities to teach those crucial water safety skills during the time when people are around water the most! These group lessons work just like our existing Friday night and Saturday morning sessions, and are held on Mon/Tues/Wed mornings. Stop by the Front Desk to get signed up. Our first week of Teen Camp starts NEXT WEEK! An all-day camp experience for those ages 13-17, and crafted with teens specifically in mind, our Teen Camp is the best way to keep your teen active and engaged during the summer! Our first field trip of our 2026 Summer Camp took us to Greensboro Science Center! We always love going there, and our kids all had a blast seeing the animals in the outdoor zoo area and in the aquarium section! There’s so much to do and see, and our campers learned a lot about the world around them!
