It’s not that I don’t like healthy foods. I spent a majority of my life eating “healthy” foods because I was supposed to, but then an hour later, in secret, I would binge on what I really wanted.
I am done doing that, so if a food is really amazing and I genuinely like the taste, I will eat it. Otherwise, I will taste and if it doesn’t cut it, I am out.
I have learned that I must be true to how I feel and true to my feelings, and I am getting lots of practice doing that. It is so hard but if I am going to keep my eating disorder under control, it is what I must do. I have worked too hard and love myself too much to be otherwise.
Save this to remind yourself that eating healthy is only good for you when you truly love what you are eating.

Before you increase your dose — read this. 👇
That little voice asking “maybe I just need more?” is one I hear from so many of you, and I get it. When the scale isn’t moving the way you hoped, it’s easy to look at your medication as the variable to change.
But here’s what I want you to consider first — your GLP-1 is a tool. It is NOT the solution. And before you hand even more of your power over to that vial, there are real questions worth asking yourself.
Swipe through this carousel and be honest with yourself as you go. The answers might surprise you.
Because more often than not, it’s not the dose that needs adjusting — it’s the habits surrounding it. 💛
If you’re feeling stuck and not sure what to tweak first, send me a DM. Let’s figure out your next steps together.
Save this for the next time you feel tempted to bump your dose before doing this work first. 🔖
Sometimes it’s a home run…this time it was a strike out. Too bad…I really wanted to like it. Dang it! I’ll keep trying!
About 10 years ago, I realized dieting wasn’t going to work for me.
Not because I wasn’t trying hard enough. But because something happened to me mentally every time I went into restriction mode — and I couldn’t explain it. I lost access to my rational thoughts.
The urgency was overwhelming. The shame that followed was worse.
So for the next 9 years, I focused entirely on the mental side of food struggle. The restrict-binge cycle. The identity. The emotional patterns. And that work genuinely changed lives.
But I was missing something. A big something.
What dieting does to the body — physiologically — is just as destructive as what it does to the mind.
When you chronically restrict calories, your body doesn’t just get hungry. It adapts. Your resting metabolism slows. Your hunger hormones shift. Cortisol rises. Your body goes into a low-grade survival state — and it stays there, sometimes for years after the dieting stops.
That’s not a mindset problem. That’s biology.
And here’s what I know now: you cannot fully heal one without addressing the other. The mental work and the physiological work are equally important. Equally urgent. And they have to happen together.
That’s exactly what I see transforming my clients’ results now — a real two-pronged approach that finally treats the whole picture.
📌 Save this Reel for the next time you’re tempted to start restricting again. Your body deserves the full story.
Drop “GUIDE” in the comments and I’ll send you my free Protein Guide for Metabolism Healing — the first practical step toward healing both sides of this equation.
Tell people you love them…you never know what tomorrow brings. And take care of yourself during hard times. Everyone needs support.
😴 I didn’t sleep through the night for 21 straight days.
I was in Italy in my early 40s — dreamy trip, nightmare sleep. And honestly? It changed everything for me.
Since then, sleep has become my #1 health priority. Two years of figuring out what actually works, and here’s what’s made the biggest difference:
🚫 No more TV at night
I kept falling asleep on the couch and waking up at 2am wondering why I felt awful. Turns out, that counts.
💊 HRT — an absolute game changer
If you’re in perimenopause or menopause and struggling with sleep, this is worth having a real conversation with your doctor about. Night and day difference for me.
🌙 Sleep Breakthrough by Bio Optimizers
Only a week in but I’m genuinely impressed. The quality of my sleep has shifted noticeably.
Here’s what I know for certain: sleep is the original beauty hack. The original health hack. No serum, supplement, or wellness trend touches what a truly solid night’s sleep does for your face, your body, and your mood.
Are you prioritizing your sleep? Drop a 🌙 below if this resonates.
Welcome To My New Series: Kitchen Sink Confidential
Food may be the thing that you think about all day.
Emotional eating may be the thing that you feel most frustrated by.
And let’s be honest, your weight might be the thing that is the most visible and the most painful. It’s right there in front of you.
You really wish all of those things could just be addressed and dealt with. But underneath it all, there is something deeper going on that we often don’t even recognize. We don’t see it, but it is honestly the thing driving all of the thoughts, the compulsions, and the pain we are feeling.
That deeper thing? It is a loss of trust in ourselves.
It’s that heavy, exhausting feeling of: “Why do I know what to do, and I just can’t do it?”
Lack of “willpower” is not the problem. You have simply been stuck in a cycle of restriction and guilt that keeps recreating the same struggle.
It’s not about the food. It’s about rebuilding that trust.
That is exactly why I created the Free 3-Day Lose the Food Obsession Challenge.
Over three days, I am going to help you understand why food obsession happens, how to tell the difference between physical hunger and emotional cravings, and how to start eating with more calm, moderation, and control.
This is not another diet. It is not a willpower challenge. It is the beginning of a sustainable way to lose weight and feel better around food—built entirely on self-respect and compassion.
If you are ready to stop obsessing and start trusting yourself again, I would love to have you join me.
