Financial Assistance Available

Are you financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic? Apply for free and reduced price school meals. Applications are accepted throughout the school year.

A qualifying application will continue to the end of this school year and 30 school days into School Year 20/21.

Applications are available from the Caledonia Central S. U. website (www.ccsuonline.org). Select the Food Service tab. The link to the application is on the left. Contact Ken Cyr, Food Service Director, to have an application sent to you. The preferred contact method is by email at [email protected]. Alternatively, call Ken at 802-684-3801 ext. 209.

CCSU schools are closing after classes on March 17. Beginning March 18, the school food service programs will begin a School Meals on Wheels program. Each student’s household is scheduled to be contacted. The household will be asked if they would like their students to receive FREE meals from their school food service program.

Meals are available Monday thru Friday during the closure period. This includes the No classes date of March 27 on some school calendars. Meals are available for pick-up at your school or delivered to your student’s location. Call your school for their designated pick-up time. Delivery can occur if the delivery location is on a bus route or if your students walk to school. Locations outside of that range must pick-up at school.

Meals provided are intended to be a lunch meal for the day and a breakfast meal for the following morning. Meals are expected to be picked up or delivered after 11 am. Your school may decide upon a different pick-up or delivery time frame.

Advance meal requests are necessary. Please contact your school, ASAP, to request meal service. Meal requests are accepted throughout the closure period of March 18 - April 3. This program is expected to be extended beyond April 3 if the required closure period is expanded.

Someone must be present to receive meals at delivery locations. Meals will not be left if an individual is not present to receive them.
