Yesterday, I spent the day at Sicily Drop Zone, Ft. Bragg, NC, with alumni of the 118th Military Police Company (Airborne) Association to witness the last jump of the Mighty 118th as they prepare for deactivation. As we remember 9/11, please think about the tough men and women who represent the .45% of our population who are capable and willing to defend our great nation.

The Archangel, St. Michael, is the patron Saint of Paratroopers, and I offer the Warrior's prayer:

"Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen."
