George Washington High School

Due to weather conditions at J.T. Christopher Stadium, GWHS Boys Semi-Final Regional game against Jefferson Forrest, has been moved to Averett North Campus, kickoff at 6:30.

Congratulations to the George Washington High School graduating class of 2026!

The GW boys and girls soccer teams will both participate in the Region 4D South sub region soccer tournament.

The girls will travel to Blacksburg high school on Wednesday, May 27. Start time is to be determined.

The boys soccer team will host Jefferson Forest on Tuesday, May 26 at 6 PM.

Tickets are $10 for both contest. Come out and cheer on the boys on Tuesday and then travel up to Blacksburg on Wednesday to cheer on the girls!

Due to the weather forecast, graduation ceremonies on Friday, May 22, 2026, will be held indoors in the George Washington High School Main Gym.
