🧩During our math activities, our Pre-K students used Magna-tiles to compose their own bodies. This activity promoted shape recognition, counting, and using shapes to create new objects!

Once they became familiar with the shapes and how they could be put together, they took it a step further and free-handed drew themselves. ✏️🎨It’s only been 2 weeks, and check out that pencil grip and fine motor skills!!

🌟This week, we learned about our classroom family and how everyone in our classroom plays an important role. Our classmates and teachers work together to create a caring, welcoming, and supportive classroom community. 💚

We completed a fun activity where each student colored a picture of themselves and added it to a class poster. Their picture represented our classroom family and showed that everyone is an important part of our classroom community! 🏠💚🌟

Parents of Danville Pre-K Students

The Danville Public Schools is offering bus transportation for our Pre-K students who enroll in the 2026-2027 school year. The service is offered by the Danville Schools and not through the
ABC program.
If you would like for your child to ride the bus to school or from school, you will need to contact the S. C. Tucker Elementary office at 479-495-4820. You will need to give your child's name along with your physical address. If your child has any siblings already riding the bus, please give those names as well. Bus transportation will begin on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
We look forward to having your child on the S. C. Tucker Elementary campus this 2026-2027 school year. If you have questions, please reach out to the number listed above or you can
