We are here to help you become stronger, more confident, more independent writers and to help you have a better understanding of academic writing and how to navigate how writing happens in different situations you might encounter during your college career. We also help students work on scholarship applications and job related writing. We offer face to face tutoring and online tutoring is available for students enrolled in online classes. Most conferences are scheduled in advance through http://www.dacc.edu/depts/la/writing, but students are always welcome to drop in to see if a tutor is available. The writing center also has a student computer lab with desktop stations you can use, wifi for your laptops, a comfy couch, and tables for group or individual work.
