Do you need to matriculate (officially enroll) at NSCC?

To matriculate into the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program at North Shore Community College (NSCC), submit a free online application through the NSCC Admissions Application.

Steps to Matriculate as an ECE Student:
Apply Online: Complete the general admissions application on the NSCC Admissions Page with no application fee.

Select either the Early Childhood Education Associate Degree (ECD) or the Early Childhood Foundational Certificate (EFC).

Start your future at North Shore Community College. Explore admissions, apply online, discover financial aid, and find the right path to your degree or certificate.

There have been significant cuts to the Career Pathways grant, and EEC is asking us to advise students to apply for FAFSA and the EEC Scholarship to pay for courses.

To be eligible for ECE courses, students are required to submit applications for both FAFSA and the EEC Scholarship. The application link is provided below:

The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and the Department of Higher Education (DHE) jointly offer this scholarship to help early educators increase their qualifications through a college degree.

Scholarship is available!

📢 Applications are now OPEN for this year’s Early Childhood Educators (ECE) Scholarship!

The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and the Department of Higher Education (DHE) collaborate on this initiative to help early educators grow their careers through higher education. 🎓 The ECE Scholarship offers financial support for pursuing a college certificate or degree at eligible institutions across Massachusetts.

You may be eligible if you work, or plan to work, in an EEC-licensed or funded Family Child Care (FCC) program, a center-based program, an After School/Out-of-School Time (ASOST) program, a residential placement program, or a contracted Family Child Care (FCC) system.
