Job Title: Full-Time Lead Daycare Teacher

Schedule: Monday - Friday, weekends off, flexible hours

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
* Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care.
* Create a fun, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
* Manage classroom resources and maintain a clean and organized space.
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to provide a high-quality daycare program.

Qualifications:

* Prior experience as a daycare teacher or in a similar role.
* Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to create engaging and educational activities.
* Certification in early childhood education is a plus.

After 3 1/2 years of renting space for my daycare, Amy and I had the opportunity to purchase the property where my daycare is located! We’ve been looking for property for almost 2 years so that we could have our own space. The current property isn’t ideal but now that it’s officially our property to do what we want with we are excited to make changes and upgrades to the daycare and the entire property.

Amy has invested a lot of time at the daycare and just recently decided to take part ownership. Now, we're not only running the daycare but also diving into the world of property management. Yes, the property also includes a rental property with two apartments.

Over the past two week we’ve been hard at work fixing up one of the apartments on the property. It's been quite the journey, but we're so proud of the transformation. From fresh paint to updated fixtures, we've poured our hearts into making it a cozy and welcoming space. Being landlords is a new experience for us, but we're embracing the challenge.

We want to thank everyone who has supported us on this purchase as well as helped us out over the past two weeks getting the apartment ready for someone to move into. From something as little as scraping wallpaper to electrical work and even helping out extra at the daycare, we appreciate every single one of you! We are excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to make upgrades and changes to the daycare!
