St. James School is proud to announce that we have officially received notification from New England Association of Schools and Colleges that we have passed our reaccreditation process. We are fully accredited through 2036.

St. James School is currently enrolling students in all grade levels for the 2026-2027 School Year.

We are accredited through New England Association of Schools and Colleges. https://www.neasc.org

We offer classes for students in grade Pre-K 3 through grade 8.

We follow all State of Connecticut health mandates for students vaccination schedules. Those requirements can be found here:

Pre-K 3 students must be 3 years old as of December 1st and fully potty trained.

Pre-K 4 students must be 4 years old as of December 1st and fully potty trained.

Kindergarten students must be 5 years old as of December 1st and fully potty trained.

St. James School is inviting applications for a Middle School Math and Science Teacher to instruct students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resumes to Principal Catherine Reed at [email protected]. Resumes can be mailed or delivered in person to St. James School, 120 Water St., Danielson, CT 06239. The main office hours during the summer are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
