ATTENTION RETURNING HONORS STUDENTS: We’re excited to introduce a new leadership opportunity in the Kathwari Honors Program!

The Kathwari Honors Ambassador Program is an opportunity for Honors students who are passionate about their Honors experience and want to help shape the future of our community.

As an Honors Ambassador, you’ll represent the Honors Program by welcoming new students, sharing your experiences with prospective students and families, helping build community through Honors Interest Communities, and serving as one of the student faces of the program throughout the academic year.

Why become an Ambassador?
As an Honors Ambassador, you’ll:
    •    Gain valuable leadership experience
    •    Build your resume with an official Honors leadership role
    •    Develop communication and public speaking skills
    •    Be featured on the Honors website and social media
    •    Receive a custom Honors Ambassador shirt
    •    Receive special recognition at Honors Convocation
    •    Earn 6 Honors Engagement Points for each year

We’ll select 8–10 Honors Ambassadors for a one-year term beginning this fall.

If you enjoy connecting with others, are excited to share your Honors experience, and want to help create a welcoming and engaged Honors community, we encourage you to apply!

During the fall, Karrina Furtado, senior Public Health major, studied abroad in Thessaloniki, Greece. This program offered a variety of courses in the Humanities and Psychology, Furtado’s minor, and also gave her the opportunity to experience Greek culture, form lasting friendships, and enjoy the scenery, including “the most beautiful sunsets.”

Hello Honors ☀️,

Before we pack up and head out for the summer, take some time to reconnect by joining the Honors Program at our End of Semester Picnic!

This event will be taking place Monday, May 4th, 12:00-3:00 PM on the lawn behind the Honors House.

There will be free food, tie-dye t-shirts, friendship bracelet making as well as outdoor games to play with friends!
