Hello! My name is Stevie Rain Bennett. I am a BFA Theatre Arts - Acting major, and I chose it because WCSU has excellent performing arts resources and a rigorous curriculum that truly draws the best out of its students. I had the pleasure of seeing WestRep’s production of The Mound Builders a few years back, which immediately drew me to the program. I am also planning on pursuing minors in Art and/or Computer Science Media Arts! My favorite honors class so far has been Intro to Piano Honors with Dr. Chang. I love how honors classes aren’t limited to lectures or research but can also encompass music and the arts! It was a very fun class that I’d recommend to pianists of any skill level. After graduation, I plan to move to the LA area and pursue a career in acting, specifically in TV/Film! I would also love to be licensed as a tattoo artist! Some of my favorite hobbies are hiking, traveling, painting, and going to concerts! I’ve been to 55 concerts in my life, and I have tickets to 5 more concerts this year. Lastly, everyone should know about Ives- my favorite spot on campus! It’s a lovely outdoor area on westside with a pond and seating. A lot of people on midtown campus don’t find themselves on westside very often, but if you have a break between classes on a sunny day, it’s a nice place to spend time!
