Surprise Visit

One of the best parts of teaching is seeing former students grow into incredible adults. Today I received a surprise visit from a former student who stopped by in her United States Navy uniform before shipping off to Japan.

During the challenges of the COVID years, she was a member of my homeroom and brought kindness, resilience, and positivity to our classroom each day. She truly brightened my life as a teacher, and seeing the confident young woman she has become filled me with pride.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Wishing you safe travels, great adventures, and success as you begin this exciting chapter serving our country. Once a student, always a part of my story. ⚓🇺🇸

A great few days in New Hampshire. We finally got to take the trip we planned last year. A little rain couldn't stop the adventures with a trip to Polly's Pancake Parlor and the best maple steamer! Plus a trip to the Basin with umbrellas for our walk then a game of Uno using the Phase 10 cards from the Covered Bridge Riverview Lodge. Well we didn't see a Moose but we looked everywhere.
