Q: What’s the best way to support students’ mental health?

A: To support those who teach, guide, and serve them among our current everyday challenges in and out of the classroom.

or Social-Emotional Learning is a big word in education right now. With student mental health concerns at an all-time high, it is essential to properly equip teachers, administrators, and parents with the tools and strategies necessary to become competent with understanding and processing their own social-emotional learning first.

is not taught through a textbook. It’s a deep dive into self-awareness, regulating emotions, awareness of others, responsible decision-making, and cultivating healthy relationships. How many adults can say they feel 100% competent in all 5 areas?

In the Sustainable Caring class ( ) and I, will provide a supportive framework to guide you through evidence-based practices to help you build skills that focus on resilience and prevent burnout through the development of your internal resource— mindfulness, self-compassion, and positive psychology. These are the nuts and bolts of SEL 🍎

Our online/hybrid class will begin Jan 11 and meet every Tuesday from 3:30-4:30pm PST for the next 6 weeks. You’re encouraged to make the live sessions, but if you can’t…no problem! The course content, practice, audios, and videos are yours for a lifetime!
