Homecoming week starts with math, not paint.
Before any stencil (because we don't use one) students are out here measuring string lines, squaring corners, and plotting coordinates by hand to lay out the giant lettering and logos you'll see on the field next Friday night. Every curve and letter gets built off a grid, measured point by point, using nothing but tape measures, string, and geometry we teach right here in the ag program.
It takes a full crew to pull this off. Somebody's holding the tape, somebody's running the line, somebody's checking the angle, and somebody's double checking the math before a single drop of paint hits the grass. One measurement off and the whole letter shifts.
This is the part nobody sees on gameday. Hours of setup, teamwork, and problem solving so the field looks right when the lights come on. Proud of this crew for putting in the work.
