Dear Happy Picasso Families,

Happy New Year! In order to slow the spread of covid, Happy Picasso will be switching to virtual classes only for classes for two weeks starting next week January 10-15, and January 17-22. We have some great teachers in store for you online! If you have your sketchbook, your pencil and eraser, your pastels, and your watercolor set, and know how to use zoom, you already have everything you need for your online class!

Kamila's first YouTube Video

Our level 3 student Kamila ( Age 8 ) is aspiring to become a Youtuber and started a series of how-to videos. She Joined Happy Picasso when she was 4 ( level one). She is also the winner of the " Seeing and Feeling of the Pandemic" drawing competition.

In this video, she is showing how to draw a Christmas tree. Please like her video and share it with your friends and ask them to like it too. She is aiming for 100 likes. Thank you for your support!

Welcome to our new Happy Picasso Teacher-Miss Bunny, say hi as she will at our Daly City locatin starting this week!

Bunny Larson-Fraley, a.k.a. Bunny California, was born and raised in San Francisco. She has a BA in Fine Art (University of San Francisco, 2011) and an MA in Museum Studies (University of San Francisco, 2017).

Bunny has participated with her art in over 50 shows and events in the past eight years. In SF, she's shown at 111 Minna Gallery, de Young Museum, Galería de la Raza, Dada Bar, Green Arcade Bookstore, Public Works, SOMArts, Book and Job Gallery, Art Attack SF, Sweet Inspiration Bakery, Mission Pie, Root Division, Incline Gallery, and Evolved SF. She was a participating artist in the Hearts in San Francisco project for 2021. Beyond SF, her work has shown at ARTescape in Sonoma county and at the Tahoe Maritime Museum by Lake Tahoe.

Previously, Bunny was an On-Call Educator for two years at the Children's Creativity Museum, and she volunteered for six years at the San Francisco Zoo's Insect Zoo. She also volunteered with the Randall Museum's special events. In 2019, she wrote, illustrated, and published a children’s book about the city's urban wildlife and the city's history, "Meet the Urban Wildlife of San Francisco". Bunny loves art, animals, history, and natural science, and enjoys working in these subjects with the next generation!

Happy Picasso Helping Hands x Self Help for Elderly x HKANC.

Thank you to those who supported Happy Picasso all these years. We have dramatic growth in the number of students in the last couple of years and we feel it is time to give back to the community.

Happy Picasso Helping Hands is a non -profit group we set up this year 2021. We will lead our students to volunteer at different places-From the Seniors center, Schools, church, Hospital Etc,

Our first project is partnered with Self Help for Elderly San Francisco and HKANC. Our students will send the lunar new year cards to the seniors In Self Help for the Elderly to show their love and care.
