So long, Ms. Simpson!
Our Lady of Mercy School announces with both gratitude and sadness that Ms. Simpson will be leaving OLM as she relocates to Las Vegas with her husband to begin a new chapter in their lives.

An alumna of the OLM Class of 1984, Ms. Simpson has faithfully served our school community for 28 years. She began her journey at OLM as a Teacher Aide before becoming our beloved third-grade teacher. Throughout her years of service, she touched the lives of countless students and families through her kindness, compassion, and dedication to Catholic education.

In addition to her work in the classroom, Ms. Simpson served as a valued member of the Leadership Team, Student Council Advisor, a member of the Strategic Planning Committee, and a dedicated Eucharistic Minister. Her connection to OLM is especially meaningful, as she is both a graduate and the proud parent of an OLM graduate.

She will be deeply missed by students, faculty, staff, and families alike. We thank Ms. Simpson for her extraordinary dedication and years of faithful service to Our Lady of Mercy School. We wish her continued joy, peace, and abundant blessings in the years ahead.

We are delighted to invite you to celebrate a very special milestone—Our Lady of Mercy School’s 70th Anniversary—at our Gala Night Dinner Dance. Please note: this is an alumni & adults-only event; no children under 14 years old permitted.

This memorable evening will bring our school community together for a night of dinner, dancing, and celebration as we honor 70 years of faith, education, and tradition at Our Lady of Mercy School. It promises to be a joyful occasion filled with fellowship, gratitude, and school spirit.

To encourage school-wide participation, we are inviting each class to reserve at least one table for the Gala. As a special incentive, any class that reserves a table will earn a FREE DRESS DAY for their class. We hope this friendly challenge inspires families to come together and represent their class at this milestone event. The class with the most tables reserved will get a PIZZA PARTY.

We truly hope you will join us in making this anniversary celebration a night to remember.
