10th time recipient of the Youth America Grand Prix's Outstanding School Award & recipient of New York City Dance Alliance's Outstanding Studio Award. Nestled in the Westlake residential community of Daly City, WSPA is the leading dance and performing arts school in the Bay Area with 6 studios surrounding a pristine courtyard. WSPA provides excellent training in ballet/contemporary, hip hop, Hula/Tahitian, Musical Theatre, Tap, and Jazz. It is the home of three youth companies whose members age ranges from 5 to 17 years old - the WSPA Dance Company (ballet and contemporary), MTC (musical theatre company), Te Orama (a Hula/Tahitian Company), and APT (a teen hip hop team). WSPA programs include a Pre-professional Ballet Division and a Performance Program in ballet, contemporary, tap, jazz, musical theatre, Hula and Tahitian, and hip hop. The school also offers a variety of classes for recreation and fitness with a specialized curriculum for the pre-schoolers age 3-6 and adult classes. WSPA is extremely proud of its students and programs. Fully understanding that not all will pursue a career in the performing arts, WSPA’s legacy of hard work, discipline, and putting your best foot forward’ will always stay with them for a lifetime.
