Te Ōrama VISION Ep.4 - Ori Tahiti
Today , teachers / practitioners of the ORI TAHITI look towards their tupuna or ancestors to help guide them to continue the traditions that were passed onto them. Similar to all of the Polynesian Islands and its people , The Tahitians have also looked towards nature as an essential part of their life. Fenua the LAND , MOANA the OCEAN , RA’I the sky. All playing an important role in Life.
"Dance is a language , where the gesture to the rhythm of sounds an d melodies transcend words to express the entire soul of a people and the pride of a Country. It narrates a story , an epic , and a myth. It makes Man LIVE and leads him to the Beautiful and Sacred" - Coco Hotahota

IA ORA NA Ohana and Friends of Te Ōrama!
This is a late post…..We are catching up from an AWESOME LUAU!!!!
Congratulations to all of Te Ōrama for an amazing performance at our 2022 Te Ōrama LUAU! It felt so good to be back in-person and be able to see your smiling faces on stage sharing all your ALOHA and MANA with a live audience. It felt so good to hug our ohana after so many years and to be able to finally carry on a tradition which has been so missed during this pandemic. We hope you enjoyed hearing the applause, seeing their smiles and even hearing the participation from our audience - all reminding us of why we love to dance and perform!
We rely so much on parent volunteers to help ensure our event runs smoothly and this year was no different! Huge MAHALO and MAURUURUU to all the parent volunteers who spent long hours preparing, cleaning, decorating, setting-up and feeding all our performers to help ensure a good performance. Thank you to all our parents for your GENEROUS donations - our raffle was a great success with some great prizes all thanks to you! Mahalo again to WSPA and all the AIMBA volunteers and parents who, without your support and dedication, events like this would not be possible.
Just a short video of the LUAU! More to come , Stay Tuned we will be Featuring the Te Ōrama Luau 2022 in our

Kikiraina Tahiti Fete of Merced , California - March 18th - 20th
We are proud to announce that Te Ōrama will be going on a GROUP Field Trip.
It has been nearly 2 years since the last Polynesian Dance Festival.
Kikiraina Tahiti Fete of Merced California March 18th - 20th This Event is the longest running Tahitian Dance Festival outside of the mother land TAHITI. This year celebrates 43 Years. This festival features a Solo and Group Competition where dancers from all levels come to compete and test their Tahitian dance skills amongst other dance schools locally , nationally and abroad. While competition can be a bit intimidating to most who have never participated , the outcome for a participating dancer is tremendous. The idea is not about winning or losing , it's about participating. That is why we will go as one group and represent Te Ōrama.

Te Ōrama - Vision Ep. 3 " The Show "
For Every Dancer , the ultimate achievement is to perform on stage. To perform in front of a live audience. To feel the eletricity that comes from the audience antipating your every motion. To feel your hula sister or hula brother next to you giving out the Aloha and mana so deserved for the performance. It has been almost 2 years since Te Ōrama as a group has performed Live on stage. We were All so excited when we were told back in September that Te Ōrama would be included in the
2021 WSPA Holiday Show.
The timing couldn’t be more perfect. Te Ōrama’s new journey into HULA will now be showcased on Stage.
