Last night Tarrant County Sheriff Bill Waybourn was the guest speaker at our November Arlington FFA Booster club meeting. He spoke about the ongoing issues with drugs in high school, human trafficking in our county, and gave advice to our parents and students about life after high school! We are thankful that he took time out of his evening to come and speak to us!

Next month we have Leanne Rogers with Lifedesign by Leanne coming to speak about college applications and how to maximize scholarship opportunites!

Any alumni that are in town tomorrow evening! We’re having Tarrant County Sheriff Bill Waybourn come and speak on the fentanyl crisis and keeping high school students safe! Come eat at 6pm and then listen to our sheriff at 6:30!

Tomorrow!! Booster club meeting with guest speaker Tarrant County Sheriff Bill Waybournand thanksgiving meal provided by Tracie Smith Bowen Road Day School and Rendon Meats! Food will be served at 6pm and the sheriff will speak from 6:30-7pm! Come join us and hear about the fentanyl crisis and keeping your student safe during their high school years

Today the Arlington FFA worked the PBR Texas Rattlers pancake breakfast at the Cowtown Coliseum! We had over 50 volunteers there to help raise money for our chapter! This evening we got to see the live bull riding event at Dickies arena where we were presented a $10,000 check, which we are sharing a portion with another chapter.

Today our FFA members and parents came in droves to give up their Saturday and serve the community pancakes. We bussed tables, passed out food, and walked the stockyards promoting our chapter with pride. Our students and parents were AMAZING! I didn’t see one person not working their tail off, and guess what.. it paid off!! What an amazing experience for our students! Thank you to the PBR team in Fort Worth, the Texas Rattlers, and everyone of the volunteers that showed up to support our kiddos! I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it, I love my community!
