It’s Pre-K Celebration Week, and we are so excited to enjoy some special activities together! Today was Magical Monday, and we started our day by creating our very own magical story. We used our imaginations to add fun and magical ideas to our story.
Next, we searched through fairy dust to find alphabet letters! We also used a magical wand to help us think of special, magical words. Of course, the wand sprinkled a little extra fairy dust on us, so we sparkled and shined all day long!
Our last activity was a fun pepper and water science experiment. We added pepper to a bowl of water and then placed our fingers in the water. We were amazed to see the pepper move away from our fingers ! We had so much fun making observations and discovering the magic of science.
What a wonderful and magical way to start our Pre-K Celebration Week!

We had a fun, hands-on activity that allowed us to become paleontologist for a day! The children used paint brushes to gently move the sand away from the dinosaur bones. They dug through the sand very carefully and were excited to discover and uncover the hidden bones.

We passed a giant leaf around the classroom while music played. When the music stopped, the child holding the leaf shared one thing they knew about fall. We talked about how the leaves change colors during the fall and how the weather becomes cooler. This activity encouraged children to recall what the have learned about the fall season while practicing listening, communication, and turn-taking skills.
