Dalton State Collegeβs Respiratory Therapy Program has been awarded the Distinguished Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credentialing Success Award by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
This prestigious national recognition places Dalton State among a select group of respiratory therapy programs demonstrating exceptional student outcomes and program effectiveness.
The award recognizes programs that consistently demonstrate strong RRT credentialing success, student retention, and performance on the national Therapist Multiple-Choice examination while maintaining rigorous accreditation standards. Programs must document at least a 90% RRT credentialing success rate and meet established CoARC performance benchmarks.
Receiving this award for 11 years is a significant accomplishment and reflects the dedication of Dalton Stateβs respiratory therapy faculty, the hard work of its students and graduates, and the programβs longstanding commitment to preparing highly qualified respiratory therapists.
