This weekend we has two students participate in the GMEA District VII Honor Band: Raymundo Cruz(trumpet) and Tristian Sosa(Euphonium). They represented Eastbrook and Whitfield County so well and sounded fantastic. Tristian was also recognized for making the GMEA All-State Band. Great things are happening at EMS!

We are so proud of our 9 Mustangs that attended the District VII Clinic Honor Band at Hammond Creek Middle School this Saturday! They were given music at 10am this morning and performed a concert this evening.

We are so proud of these girls! Both of them are in our band program at EMS and they also marched with the Southeast Raider Band too!!

Congratulations to our Eastbrook Middle School Spelling Bee Champions:
1st place - Emily Smith (8th Grade)
2nd place -Susana Cruz (7th Grade)

They will compete at the district level in December. Go Mustangs!

Due to Mrs. Jones being absent for sickness, our Krispy Kreme doughnut coupons will not be delivered tomorrow. The new plan is to give them to the students by the end of next week (after Labor Day holiday). We apologize for any inconvenience. 🍩

What a great group of current EMS band students (7th & 8th)! These mustangs having been working hard for the past two weeks at band camp and we can’t wait to see them on the field in a few weeks!
