FitRanX is a comprehensive and standardized ranking system used for gauging individuals’ fitness levels. This is a REA

L ranking system that took years to develop and perfect. Up Lift: Self motivated weight lifting and strength training (free time). Little Grasshopper Grapple: a mixture of grappling combatives (self defense), wrestling and grappling basics for children. Little Grasshopper Jump: Fun exercises that focus on the child's agility, strength and hand eye coordination. Little Grasshopper Strike: Basic striking skills suited to advance by age and ability. Grappling Essentials: a mixture of grappling combatives (self defense), wrestling and grappling basics. Advanced Grappling: a mixture of Jui Jitsu, Judo, Sambo, Catch Wrestling and Other forms of Submission Grappling. Striking Basics: Boxing and similar striking basics. Advanced Striking: A mixture of Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing and other forms of striking. MMA Classes: a mixture of grappling and striking for competition. Classes are a bit more competitive in nature and require more enduring physical activity. Competition Team: Competitors only. Invitation only classes and may require testing prior to admission.

Had a great weekend. On Friday we had another great sparring session. We were working late that night so a few of the people were already gone by the time we decided to take a picture. Always fun having Joseph Long , Dakota Pell and their team come join us to get in work. Then Saturday we had two kids compete. Both came home with silver, but really showed out. Cesar hadn't trained in a minute but decided to see where he was at and went and took second. Lost only to a kid that had submitted the rest of their division, he lost by points having gotten swept late in the round. Very impressive. Sebastian, as always has his whole division back out and ends up having to move up in age and weight just to complete was still able to come with with silver after having lost by points in the finals. Proud coach watching these kids work hard and staying active.

We are now offering "The Confident Kid" seminar that teaches and equips youth how to defend themselves, escape intense scenarios and become confident in their ability to stay safe.

After a long night things didn't go our way this time. We lost 2 decisions. Both in different ways. Sebastian went out there and did what he always does. He chased a finish, BUT in MMA you can't usually win fighting from the bottom. He had subs locked in but couldn't finish so he lost a decision. Alexis lost a decision that looked like he was costing to a victory but got dropped in the third round after a bit of a confusing situation. He tripped over the ref, when he turned around to look at the ref he got hit with a clean shot. Never take your eyes off your opponent. After getting clipped there he tried to get back in the fight but took another that dropped him. He fought a good fight though and we are proud of both these young warriors. They will both be back at it soon I'm sure.
