Brookwood, Westwood, and Dalton High families: Free & Reduced Lunch Applications Are Now Available – in English & Spanish!

The 2026–2027 Free & Reduced Lunch Application is open!

Everyone is encouraged to complete a new application each year, even if you’ve qualified in the past.
Submit your application by September 1, 2026. A new application is required each year, and last year’s status will expire on September 18.

Apply online or pick up a limited paper copy at the front office of any Dalton school.

Good afternoon, DHS Family! Below you will find links to our updated Family Engagement Plan, which establishes the school’s expectations for parent and family engagement and describes how the school will implement a number of specific parent and family engagement activities, and our School Parent Compact, which outlines how the parents, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement as well as describes how the school and parents will build and develop a partnership that will help children achieve the State’s high standards.
