"Driving prices down for those of us that produce REAL RAW honey. People buy it not knowing it NOT local and more than likely cut with something."

Plant living tick repellant rather than using poisons!

As someone who has done hundreds and hundreds of avian "point counts" (recording/mapping all the species seen/heard over a period of time) I have been noticing SERIOUS declines in bird densities on my organic farmland every year over the past 5 years!! This year's newest decline is in American Woodcocks! I typically have about 6-9 males displaying around my pastureland nearest to my farmhouse... this year only 2 males are displaying!!!! This location is surrounded by PRIME nesting sites in the riparian bushland! 😢

Pesticides don’t just kill the insects we target—they can also kill birds that depend on those insects for food. When we reduce insect populations, we reduce a vital food source for nestlings and adult birds alike.

A healthy yard doesn’t need to be perfect. By reducing pesticide use, we can help create a safer environment for birds, pollinators, and other wildlife.

Orrganic mosquito control?
I haven't tried this but it sounds reasonable. do not use these dunks in natural puddles or stagnant water...
because they can kill other insect larvae like dragon flies as well.
