Sliding scale enrollment available. This is a great way for your child (age 8 and older) to gain experience in a group multi-age setting. A wonderful veteran homeschool mother is leading the group. Please reach out so we can fill the remaining seats and run this program starting in October.

We have a new program coming!
Meeting on Tuesdays from 10:30-1pm.
Dates: September 29th October 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th November 3rd, 10th, 17th
Requirements: Ages 8 and up. Students need to bring water and a packed lunch.
Must be able to form and write a sentence. All other materials provided.

THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH

Have your child join in the great adventure with Milo, Tock, Humbug and other characters of this beloved children's 1961 classic. Students will partake in creative writing and group discussions. Lunch together and if time permits play some board games.
Amanda Butler is new to the Hemlock Hill staff this year and brings a wealth of home school knowledge with her. She is a Marine Corps veteran from California, with a Master's in Human Behavior and dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Sociology, minoring in Global Studies. I have home schooled for 13 years and have found in my time that learning is a lifelong adventure and nothing is more affirming than the "a ha moments"-I strongly believe that books and reading open up opportunity and worlds. And I look forward to sharing great stories with great learners.
Cost: $220 for our 8 week session. Need based financial aid is available through a generous donation.
