Free, hands-on fun at Nixon Park! 🤩

Looking for a fun, hands‑on outdoor adventure for the kids? Come explore Nixon Park’s Exploration Forest and make the most of your nature play time by borrowing FREE toy buckets at the Nature Center front desk during regular hours!
Buckets include sifters, magnifying glasses, nets, and play kitchen supplies — perfect for splashing in the stream, digging in the muddy banks, and discovering all the little wonders of the forest.
Don’t forget your water shoes and a towel! And please remember to carry out your trash so the play area stays beautiful for everyone who visits.
Come out, get messy, and make some unforgettable nature memories at Nixon Park! 🌿🪣💦

UPDATE: Please note that Exploration Forest, the nature play area at Nixon Park, is following summer hours. We kindly ask all visitors to respect the closed hours while the park’s summer camp uses this space.
⏰ Closed most Monday–Friday from 1:15–2:15 PM
