Gaston College- Apprenticeship 321

Gaston College- Apprenticeship 321 Apprenticeship 321 is a Gaston College program collaborative with regional advanced manufacturers.

Individuals selected for the apprenticeship become employees of regional manufacturers. Apprentices will receive job-specific training and a tuition-free education while earning a salary from their employer. Upon successful completion, apprentices will be awarded nationally recognized certifications as journeyworkers in a skilled trade and an academic credential such as a certificate, diploma, or

associates degree from Gaston College. Current Apprenticeship 321 occupations include: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Machine Set-up Operator, Tool Machine Set-up Operator, Chemical Operator III, Mechatronics Technician, and Tool and Die Maker.

As we celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, I would like to give a special shout-out to our pre-apprentices who will be graduating in May. We wish each of you continued success as you begin this exciting new chapter of adulthood.

The seniors pictured did an outstanding job today by confidently standing before our Apprenticeship 321 partners to introduce themselves and share their goals. They represent a strong and promising pipeline of our future workforce, and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments.
