Before the final bell rang, Site Coordinator Charlie made sure her students had a little extra support heading into summer. With help from Grand Central Station in Sherman, she distributed 80 care packages during the last week of school!

Each bag was packed with food, snacks, and even mosquito repellent to keep students nourished and protected during summer fun. Thank you to our incredible community partners for making this possible!

Nothing brings people together like a game of kickball!

At a recent Family Engagement event, Site Coordinator Devorah brought the fun and the snacks—joining families for a kickball game as part of our ACE after-school program. The field was full of laughter, teamwork, and connection… and the sidelines? Full of snow cones, cotton candy, hot dogs, and big smiles. šŸ§šŸŒāœØ

When families and schools come together, students thrive—and we’re proud to be part of that connection.

A healthy dose of fun and support at Plano ISD's Mitchell Elementary School Field Day! ā˜€ļø

On May 18, Parkland Community Health Plan joined the celebration with a connection table hosted by three of their team members—Ana, Monica, and Mayra. From 9 to 11:30 a.m., families received valuable health resources while students spun the prize wheel for fun giveaways like water bottles, drawstring bags, and Frisbees.

We’re proud to connect students and families to trusted community partners like Parkland—especially during the non-school months when support can be harder to access.

Huge thanks to Ana, Monica, and Mayra for volunteering their time and bringing such great energy to the day!
