Congratulations to all our students who competed last weekend!
The Vocal Division represented our School of Music well this past weekend as 15 students competed at the National Association of Teachers of Singing regional conference at Sam Houston State University. Of those 15, seven students advanced to the semi-final round (Anna Hernandez, Emiliano Palomo, Josiah de Rueda, Jacob Vasquez, Daniel Feliberty Irizarry, Jun Gomez, and Emalyn Nicholson), and two students, Jun Gomez and Jacob Vasquez advanced to the finals. Jun Gomez won a certificate for being a finalist in his division, and Jacob Vasquez was awarded 3rd place in his division, which qualifies him to compete at the National Convention in the summer of 2025. Congratulations!
