Exciting news! iamcultured.co is bringing our hands-on global enrichment experience to five Northwest ISD elementary schools this January! Thanks to our partnership with AlphaBEST Education, Inc., families across the district can give their kids a chance to explore new cultures, spark curiosity, and see the world with wider eyes.
As a founder, moments like this, where young learners get to experience the world, are what fuel me. ❤️
Huge thanks to the amazing AlphaBEST team and the Northwest ISD campuses hosting the program. Partnerships like this bring us closer to our vision:
Every nation seen, heard, and respectfully represented.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.
A generous supporter recently sponsored a 𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐢𝐭 for a classroom in Frenship ISD. While the donor chose to remain anonymous, their gift is a powerful reminder of how members of our community can support the teachers and students in their circles.
Our kits give kids hands-on experiences that 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲, 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 - lessons that last a lifetime.
For organizations or individuals looking for meaningful ways to invest in their local communities, 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐤𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞.
Let’s keep shaping the future of global education, one classroom at a time.

Cedar Hill ISD really knows how to rally! 🤘🏾
This weekend was full of joy, connection, and Longhorn pride.
I had such a good time chatting with families, local orgs, and passionate school leaders - it reminded me why community-rooted work matters.
Big thank you to Ms. Clara for the invite. We’ve crossed paths a few times now, and one thing is always clear - her love for this city runs deep. She connects people and makes space for meaningful work to grow.
Through her, I also got to reconnect with Dr. Maria Gamell - the first female superintendent in Cedar Hill ISD’s 121-year history. She brought the energy (as always!).
We talk a lot about “giving back,” but it hits different when you meet folks who truly love where they are and who they serve.
And a quick shoutout to Eduardo for everything he does to engage families and strengthen the Cedar Hill community. 🙌🏾

What a meaningful time connecting with Clara McGinnis, Executive Director of the Cedar Hill Action Team (C.H.A.T.).
We were introduced through a mutual connection (thank you Roseann Yanez and Mallory Graham of Frost Bank!), and what started as a simple meeting turned into an exchange of stories, purpose, and a shared passion for community-building.
Clara’s story is powerful - turning the grief of losing her son into 21 years of consistent, selfless service to both youth and elders in Cedar Hill. Her journey deeply resonated with me. We both know what it’s like to build something from the ground up and refuse to take “no” for an answer.
During our meeting, she introduced me to someone else doing great work in Cedar Hill - proving, yet again, the value of staying connected and open.
We’re excited about the possibility of bringing Cultured.’s global learning kits to the youth she serves - helping them explore the world and broaden their horizons right from their neighborhood. We're actively looking for partners to help make this vision a reality.
If your company or organization is looking for a meaningful way to invest in local schools, afterschool programs, or nonprofits serving K–6 students, I’d love to share how you can help bring this experience to more communities like Cedar Hill Action Team (C.H.A.T.).
📍Because when trusted community leaders open the door, we show up ready to serve.
