It’s a Chick-Fil-A and Kiest collab 🤝
This week we welcomed Hawkeye and Michelle from Hawkeye in the Morning on New Country 96.3 to Kiest!
Hawkeye and Michelle came and celebrated our very own Ms. Houston who won $500 for her classroom AND free Chick-Fil-A for a year! Way to go Ms. Houston! We are so happy for you and your Coatls!
Michelle is also a proud Dallas ISD alumni who attended Anson Jones Elementary, Spence TAG Academy and Greiner Exploratory Arts Academy!

We are proud to announce that THE Edwin J Kiest is a B Rated school and for the first-time ever we received 2 DISTINCTIONS! We are so proud of our teachers and students for all their hard work! This is only the beginning! 🐉

New building, same vibes! The first week of school is always one of our favorite times of the year, and what an incredible first week it has been!
A HUGE thank you to our Executive Director, Mr. Bott, our Regional Superintendent, Dr. Bernardino, and our dynamic Trustee, Dan Micciche, for visiting us on Day 1! Your continued support means so much to our students, staff, and school community. We truly could not have done this work without you!
Now, Week 2 starts tomorrow, and we’re ready to keep building, growing, and showing everyone what Kiest is all about!
We are K-I-E-S-T! We are the Blueprint of Excellence! 🐉

From Data Tracking Expectations in K-2 and 3-6, AVID, to Word Problem Structure. Thank you to our exemplar teachers Ms. Quiroz, Ms. Mendez, Ms. Anguiano, Ms. Contreras, and Mr. Mendez for leading our PD sessions!
Our Kiest Fam was treated with a Build-Your-Own-Burger Bar! A huge shoutout to our Office Manager, Ms. Plascencia for an amazing lunch surprise!
Our Kiest Teachers are rising up and leading the way for a fiery 26-27 school year! Go Coatls!
