📚📚📚Yasher Koach to our PTO for a phenomenal Book Fair. Chana Ben Abraham shares: "What has made this week so special is that the Book Fair has truly become a community experience. Our teachers have embraced the excitement, helping children discover new interests and encouraging conversations about stories, authors, and learning while visiting the Book Fair and practicing using our "Museum Hands". Parents and grandparents have joined us throughout the week, creating moments of connection as they shopped alongside their children and shared their own love of reading. There is something powerful about a child seeing the adults in their life excited about books too."

Scenes from today's K-8 Color War.
K-8 Color War is HERE!
This is the moment our students have been waiting for! Color War breakout has just taken place, sparking excitement and team spirit throughout the school. Tomorrow our 8th-grade students will lead a full day of fun, creative programming for this year’s Shavuot-themed Color War. They have been planning and preparing for weeks, and we couldn’t be more proud of their dedication and passion to make this year unforgettable.
They have chosen meaningful moments connected to Shavuot as this year’s theme:
Lag B’Omer — RED
Shamayim — BLUE
The Tree of Life — GREEN
Na’aseh v’Nishma- YELLOW
Color War is a beloved Akiba Yavneh tradition, promising a day filled with energy, teamwork, and creativity!
Students are encouraged to come to school dressed in their team colors on Wednesday. Many of the events will involve a lot of teamwork and movement, so please keep that in mind and dress your students comfortably with sneakers. Teachers will be emailing you soon with your child’s team assignment. Please ensure all outfits follow the school Spirit Day dress guidelines.
Color war is here.
