What if humanity’s spiritual history is far deeper than we were taught?
S.E.E.K. is a journey into the traditions, ideas, practices, and experiences through which human beings have sought to understand consciousness, encounter the sacred, and transform themselves.
We explore the ESOTERIC, from Egyptian Hermeticism, Greek and Roman Mystery traditions, Neoplatonism, Gnosticism, Alchemy, Kabbalah, Sufism, Rosicrucianism, and Freemasonry to Hindu Ta**ra, Yoga, Vajrayana Buddhism, Taoism, and other Eastern philosophies of consciousness and liberation. We explore initiation, where death and rebirth become enduring metaphors for transformation: the descent into darkness, the reconfiguration of the old self, and the emergence of transcendence. Across myth, allegory, sacred drama, symbol, and ritual, esoteric traditions have often concealed profound ideas in plain sight, inviting the seeker to look beyond the literal story toward the deeper truths encoded within it.
We also explore the ENTHEOGENIC, including the Mazatec relationship with velada and sacred mushrooms, the Huichol and Wixárika pe**te tradition, the Shipibo Conibo ayahuasca tradition, the Bwiti use of iboga in Central Africa, Amazonian ayahuasca traditions, Andean San Pedro traditions, and the ancient relationships surrounding Soma and Haoma. Alongside these living traditions, we examine the modern history of psychedelics, from Albert Hofmann and psilocybin research to the work of researchers, therapists, ethnobotanists, and philosophers who helped reopen the scientific study of consciousness.
S.E.E.K. is not here to tell you what to believe.
We are here to look deeper.
Because whether the path leads through a sacred text, a monastery, a mystery school, a ceremonial plant, a laboratory, a work of art, or the depths of one’s own consciousness, the underlying question remains remarkably human:
What does it mean to be conscious, and what might consciousness reveal about reality?
If you have ever felt that there is more to the story, come seek it with us.
Study deeply. Question honestly. Explore without prejudice.
